Joining forces for better performance and predictability

At the beginning of 2023, Electronic, together with GMGColor and BRF closed the partnership to implement the Epson S80600L + GMG OpenColor technology in order to create prototypes even more consistent with the reality of production.


In this way, it is possible to specify the final results, whether Offset, Flexo or Roto quickly so that, if necessary, changes can be made to layouts or color patterns. The implementation of the GMGColor system and the delivery of the Epson SureColor S80600l printer were carried out in December 2022 and the initial tests are already being carried out and the results approved by the BRF team.

GMG OpenColor and ColorProof work together to provide a complete print simulator and allow accurate proof simulation of spot color overprint effects using special multicolor profiles. After extensive internal and external testing, GMG selected the Epson SureColor S80600L as the final output component of its packaging solution due to its high-performance white ink printing capabilities, advanced printhead technology and ultra-high color gamut. wide with black, red and light orange inks. Additionally, the reduced maintenance time required to operate the SureColor S80600L made it a desirable solution that would easily fit into a variety of commercial environments.

Leveraging 9-color Epson UltraChrome GS3 ink with red and orange ink and optional white or metallic silver, the SureColor S80600L offers the highest Pantone coverage in its class, making it an ideal selection for the packaging industry.
